Michael Peachman, JP, A Eagle HapKIDo Jung Director, 6th Dan Hapkido Master, 4th Dan Taekwon-Do, 1st Dan Ji Do Kwan, has been training in martial arts since the early Sixties. He first started his fighting skills as a young teenager learning boxing and soon became a local Flyweight boxing champion in his region of Norfolk, U.K. He then trained in Judo and Kendo before deciding to join the British Merchant Navy at the age of 16. During his service, he travelled to Japan several times and he would train in Shorinji Kenpo at a local dojo. Despite the language barrier, he was able to learn a considerable amount of martial arts this way.

Master Peachman, is a well respected, exceptionally skilled and knowledgeable martial artist. He comes from a line of high quality Taekwon-Do and Hapkido experts. He emigrated to Australia in 1974 and was a very popular instructor in the Eastern states. He was renowned for his fast spinning kicks and sparring ability in the 70’s and 80’s. He has been recognised by the South Australian Police for his “most valued assistance in helping to design defence techniques for the SA Police Dept”, by the Chief Instructor, Greg Flint – 1985. He continues to teach for the love of Hapkido and not for any other purpose.

Mr Peachman is an unique instructor and few of his kind can be found in the new millenium. He is an intelligent, mentally powerful and highly dangerous man in his skill and knowledge, but has an equal balance of strong morals and compassion. His lifetime experiences have given him such an edge yet he is prepared to spend time one onto one with his students helping them. It is rare to find someone of his calibre still training and teaching classes.
